Release Notes v4.6.1
What's New in v4.6.1
With 4.6 widely deployed and stable across the customer base, it’s time to take stock to process the feedback received as well as responding to a few customer requests for refinements and to “unblock blocks”.
This patch release squashes bugs, fixes user experience irritations and brings us up to date on some recent fixes from Cisco in the CMS
Cisco Meeting Server (CMS) is a premises-based video, audio, and web communication which also works with third parties. platform. We have also introduced two minor features; turning off the [full] Metro

Cross-platform (for web/desktop), all-in-one End user application, suitable for any Cisco Meeting Server customer.
It includes a call client, as well as self-service tools to schedule and manage calls on CMS infrastructure. launch button in the Metro for Outlook Add-in
Also Add in, Add In and Add-In
A very generic software industry term that many different applications use, from Microsoft Outlook to Cisco Jabber. VQ produce an Outlook Add-ins for for use with Microsoft's email client.
Outlook Add-ins are web applications that run in Outlook's internal browser with very limited access to Outlook via an API. Due to this the third party (us, Zoom, Cisco etc.) have to integrate our back-end with Outlook’s back-end, Exchange. The VQ Outlook Add-in can be run either standalone, with very limited functionality, or via our back-end integration to M365 Exchange Online to give functionality similar to the Outlook Plug-in. and branding of the Conference Manager login pages.
For a full list of changes, new functionality and bugs, please see the changes and fixes lists.
To upgrade, please mail support@vqcomms.com. We’ll then give you access to health-checks and, if all looks ok, the upgrade files. Customers often ask, “why don’t you just give us access to the upgrade files?”. The answer is that when we did that, customers could sometimes get themselves into a terrible mess. This way, we get very high upgrade success rates and a lot less stress on both sides.
CMS versions
Support for CMS v3.0 to v3.11.
