Macro Management
Even the most basic macros require devices to be configured to accept and run macros. Many of the most advanced macros (e.g., ‘WebApps’ such as JIBB or Alleo) require multiple files to be loaded to the device, and for device features beyond the basic macro load/run, to be switched on and configured to the needs of ‘applications’ being run on the device.
DMA Macro Management is designed to enable the most basic macros and advanced ‘applications’ to be deployed and run on Cisco devices. We strongly recommend that anyone using this DMA feature be very familiar with macros, xAPI and WebApps ion RoomOS. And to have read the Cisco developer guides and documentation for their development and use. This information can be found on the Cisco RoomOS website at https://roomos.cisco.com/doc/TechDocs

xAPI: https://roomos.cisco.com/doc/TechDocs/xAPI
We recommend that users who are new to macros on RoomOS begin their journey by using some of the existing macro examples available from the Cisco website and GitHub:
Many advanced applications require back-end application servers deployed in the cloud or ‘on-prem’ using dedicated servers or VQ’s AppServer secure hosting platform. Please ensure that you (and your devices) can access these environments when working with WebApps.
