Assigning Devices to a Template

After a Template has been created, you have to add the Device(s) to the Template's Group.

To assign a Device to a Template Group:

1. In the row of the required Template, click then select Add to Group:
   

2. Either select the required Device(s) from the list, or filter the Device list to reduce the number of options. To apply a filter, click Filter, then fill out the dialog, then click OK.
   

3. Click outside of the Filter dialog to see the filtered list:
   

4. Select the individual devices you wish to add to the group , or click All displayed items to select all devices in the list:
   
   

5. Click ADD, then click Continue:
   

DMA will confirm that the group has been successfully created:

Note: The Template action page will alert the user to any disabled modules that will be ignored at run/send time and provides a link to identify them:

The devices will now be displayed in the VIEW GROUP tab:

Note: To remove devices, click the REMOVE FROM GROUP tab and repeat the above process of filtering and selecting devices:
