Managing Firmware Deployment Groups

A Firmware Deployment must have a group of Devices applied before they can be deployed. Until a group has been assigned, the Firmware Deployment will be assigned the state of "Building" in the Firmware Deployment list view.

The process of adding a group to a Firmware Deployment creates that group. Groups are not transferrable between Firmware Deployment.

To add a Device to a Firmware Deployment group :

1. In the row of the required Firmware Deployment, click then select Add to Group
   

2. In the Add To Group tab, select Devices, then click Add:
   
   

Note: Checking the Override Links remove any existing (e.g., previous version deployments) that the device might have been included in.

To remove a Device from a Firmware Deployment group:

1. In the row of the required Firmware Deployment, click then select Remove from Group
   

2. In the Remove From Group tab, select Devices, then click Remove:
   

To view a Firmware Deployment group:

1. In the row of the required Firmware Deployment, click then select View Group
