Move Participant
The Move Participant coApp enables moving Participants between calls. What’s also really cool is that Participants can also be moved between Roles; this enables party tricks such as moving participants in a town-hall call from being view only to full audio/video to ask a question and them when complete, moved back to being view only.
Participants are moved between calls individually or en-masse; the target call is searched for via a dedicated in-coApp search and the target role selected. The target (“to”) call is automatically opened as a “focus” beneath the “from” call so that operators have a complete overview of the move process.
Please be aware that Participants that are using the CMA or WebRTC clients cannot be moved. A warning message will be displayed. The limitation is at the CMS level and probably a result of these two clients not being entirely SIP based. WebEx Teams and the new Cisco Web App can be moved and therefore migrating to these new client options should be considered.
