Firmware & Macros

DMA's Firmware & Macros section allows users to upload and deploy device RoomOS images and macros to their devices. Both functions require uploading externally sourced files and scheduling of deployment due to the need to perform system reboots. The firmware & macro tools support the definition of ‘deployment windows’ (of time), enabling users to ensure that disruptive actions do not occur during operating hours.

The Firmware & Macros section of the SideBar contains tools for Adding, Editing, Deleting and Managing Firmware upgrades and Macro automation files across multiple Devices.

It is divided into four sections:

1. Firmware Deployment - contains tools for the creation and application of Firmware Upgrades to groups of Devices on a schedule. See Firmware & Macros for more information.

2. Macro Deployments - contains tools for the creation and application of Macro Collections to groups of Devices on a schedule. See Firmware & Macros for more information.

3. Macro Collections - contains tools for the grouping of multiple Macros into Macro Collections. See Firmware & Macros for more information.

4. File Library - a store of Firmware and Macro files that have been uploaded to DMA. See Firmware & Macros for more information.
